Oneil Cruz Still Hoping to Return to Pirates This Season (+)

PITTSBURGH — Despite his rehab hitting a snag, Oneil Cruz is still holding out hope he can return to the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2023 after fracturing his left ankle early in the season.

After starting a running program earlier this month, Cruz experienced general soreness in his left foot, putting a pause on his efforts to move along with his rehab.
