Significant Changes in Pirates’ Updated Opening Day Roster Predictions (+)

Opening day for the Pittsburgh Pirates against the Marlins in Miami is nine days away.

As the commencement of the 2024 regular season quickly grows nearer, the Pirates’ initial roster is starting to become clearer. With that being said, there still are some spots up for grabs.

The Pirates made a couple notable additions over the weekend in outfielder Michael A. Taylor and starting pitcher Domingo Germán, creating an interesting, late wrinkle into the equation.

There are other recent developments that have caused me to make some big changes from my 2.0 version from two weeks ago.

Here is how I see the Pirates opening-day roster unfolding as things currently stand.
