Gonzales wasn’t the only Pirates’ prospect who had a big hand in the win for the Saguaros.
First baseman Jacob Gonzalez finished the game 2 for 2 with a double and two RBIs. He also walked twice and scored a pair of runs in the victory.
Blake Sabol, who was behind the plate in this one, picked doubled as part of a two-hit performance, bumping up his batting average to .234.
On the pitching side of things, Pirates’ prospect Tahnaj Thomas tossed a scoreless fifth inning. He struck out a batter and walked one.
