Pirates Transactions: Kranick Recalled, Wilson on 10-Day IL

In Pirates transaction news, the Pirates have officially called up right-handed pitcher Max Kranick and have placed Bryse Wilson on the 10-day IL. Kranick most recently started in Indianapolis on Sunday, September 12th; Kranick went a very strong 6.0 innings of work and only gave up two hits and struck out eight.

Bryse Wilson was placed on the IL with a left hamstring strain. Wilson on Saturday night left the game with just 68 pitches thrown in 5.0 innings of work. In the press conference, manager Derek Shelton said that Wilson was pulled with hamstring issues. Wilson will be eligible to return on September 29th.
