Pirates Send RHP Crowe on Rehab Assignment to Bradenton

PITTSBURGH- The Pittsburgh Pirates have sent RHP Wil Crowe on a rehab assignment to Bradenton. Crowe is currently pitching Sunday afternoon for the Marauders and has pitched a clean inning of work.

Crowe has been on the injured list for the Pirates since April 26 with right-shoulder discomfort. Three days later, Crowe was transferred to the 60-day IL with no update on the injury.

Crowe’s last appearance was on April 17 against the Colorado Rockies, where he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up two hits, two earned runs, two walks, and struck out one.

On the season, Crowe has pitched in five games and has an 0-1 record with an ERA of 4.66 in 9.2 innings pitched.
