Ever since Mitch Jebb joined the Pittsburgh Pirates organization  he has flat-out hit.

After a three-hit game on Friday night, Jebb had a four-hit performance for the Bradenton Marauders on Saturday and is now hitting .571 (8 for 14) through his first three professional games.

It’s obviously still early, but the Michigan State-product is making a strong first impression with the Pirates’ organization. Jebb was joined by these Pirates’ prospects as the standouts on Saturday night.

Indianapolis (47-53)

DH Rodolfo Castro

  • Game Stats: 3-5 with a homer and four RBIs
  • Season Stats: .149/.212/.234, one double, one homer, and seven RBIs

LF Miguel Andujar

  • Game Stats: 3-4 with a homer and RBI
  • Season Stats: .353/.415/.566, 23 doubles, two triples, 13 homers, and 68 RBIs

Andujar continues to mash in Triple-A, and Castro finally broke through for the first time since getting sent down to the Indians earlier this month.

Luis Ortiz tossed five innings and gave up just one earned run in a 6-3 win over Louisville.

Altoona (44-47)

LF Lolo Sanchez

  • Game stats: 3 for 4, one home run, one double, two RBIs, one run
  • Season stats: .221/.339/.310, seven doubles, four home runs, 20 RBIs, five steals, 65 games

2B Tsung-Che Cheng

  • Game stats: 2 for 4, one double, one run
  • Season stats: .245/.278/.294, three doubles, one triple, five RBIs, six steals, 26 games

Despite Sanchez and Cheng combining for five hits and three of the extra-base variety, Altoona was walloped 13-3 by the Harrisburg Senators.

Pirates prospect Matt Fraizer went 1 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored.

Greensboro (48-44)

1B Josiah Sightler

  • Game Stats: 3-5 with three RBIs
  • Season Stats: .446/.524/.752, seven doubles, eight homers, and 33 RBIs

RHP Bubba Chandler

  • Game Stats: five innings pitched, two hits, one earned run, no walks, and four strikeouts
  • Season Stats: 78 innings pitched, 6-3 record, 5.54 ERA, 95 strikeouts, and 42 walks

Bubba Chandler looked electric in his start on Saturday, and Sightler continues to impress with his play. In addition, Jack Brannigan went 3-5 with a solo homer and three RBIs

Thanks to some lights out pitching, and a dominating offensive performance, the Hoppers cruised to victory over Winston-Salem in a 13-4 victory.

Bradenton (55-39)

SS Mitch Jebb

  • Game stats: 4 for 6, one double, two RBIs, two runs
  • Season stats: .571/.600/.714, two doubles, two RBIs, one steal, three games

DH Nick Cimillo

  • Game stats: 3 for 5, one home run, one double, four RBIs, two runs
  • Season stats: .294/.406/.556, 16 doubles, one triple, eight home runs, 29 RBIs, one steal, 50 games

Jebb and Cimillo both turned in big performances with the bats for Bradenton in their 10-3 win over the St. Lucie Mets on Saturday.

Pittsburgh Pirates prospect Lonnie White Jr. connected on his second homer of the season and Deivis Nadal and Geovanny Planchart each had two hits.
