WATCH: Nick Gonzales Belts His 18th Home Run of the Year
In the final regular-season game for the High-A Greensboro Grasshoppers, 2020 first-round pick Nick Gonzales belted his 18th home run of the year. Gonzales finished the game 2-3 and raised his average to .302 on the year. Gonzales finished the year with an OPS of .950, a wOBA of .400, and a 146 wRC+.
Gonzales and the Grasshoppers will be in the High-A playoffs and will face the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Tampa Bay Rays affiliate.) Below is the video of Gonzales’ final home run of the regular season.
