UPDATE (4:40 p.m.) – The Mets spoke to Pirates’ assistant GM Kevan Graves about their GM vacancy before hiring Billy Eppler

Today is the day for all of those who are excited to see what the Pirates will do with their 40-man roster. At 6 p.m., all of the final moves will need to be made to protect the prospects your Buccos deem worthy of protecting. Rule 5 stuff can be stress-inducing, but not to fear, we here at Pittsburgh Baseball Now will update you as the day goes on.
