Pittsburgh Pirates-Henry Davis

After the conclusion of Tuesday afternoon’s game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Toronto Blue Jays, the Pirates reassigned three prospects to minor league camp, including catcher Henry Davis.

Outfielders Kevin (Lolo) Sanchez, and Matt Gorski as well as Davis, the first overall pick in the 2022 amateur draft, join the four other prospects assigned to minor league camp earlier Tuesday afternoon.

The Pirates now have 59 players in major league camp (31 pitchers, 28 position players).

Lolo Sanchez hit a solo home run on Tuesday, and Baseball America’s 73rd overall prospect, Henry Davis, drew a walk in his only at-bat against the Blue Jays.

Assigned to the minor league camp in the morning were right-handers Jared Jones and Kyle Nicolas and infielders Malcom Nunez and Liover Peguero.
