Thursday night, we saw several Pittsburgh Pirates prospects perform at a high level, including Endy Rodriguez hitting his 15th home run of the season and Travis Swaggerty finding his grove again in Triple-A Indianapolis. Indianapolis Indians
OF Travis Swaggerty
- Game: 3-5 with a double and no strikeouts
- Season: .263/.329/.439 with 41 RBIs, seven homers, and 112 total bases
INF Tucupita Marcano
- Game: 1-3 and extended his hitting streak to eight games
- Season: .300/.407/.467, with 18 RBIs and 70 total bases
Indianapolis got back into the win column with a 6-5 victory over the Toledo Mud Hens. Mason Martin had two RBIs, Marcano extended his hitting streak, and recently acquired reliever Colin Holderman pitched a scoreless frame.

LHP Tyler Samaniego

The Curve were victorious Friday night against the Akron Rubber Ducks, 6-4. Triolo was the only Altoona player to have a multi-hit game, and Samaniego pitched an impressive two shutout innings to earn his eighth save of the season.

The Grasshoppers became the third Pirates affiliate to win on Friday night as they beat the Dash 6-4. Starting pitched Jared Jones pitched five strong innings, Rodriguez went 2-4, and Ricky DeVito pitched three shutout innings while striking out five.

DH Bubba Chandler

The Marauders fell to the Flying Tigers of Lakeland 7-4. Bowen showed off the power, Chandler continues to impress with his two-way skills, and Carlos Lomeli played escape artist giving up five hits in 2.2 innings of relief but up no runs.
