Pirates Updated Pitching Matchup Against Dodgers

Pittsburgh Pirates-Michael Grove

The Pittsburgh Pirates were anticipating Clayton Kershaw for the Los Angles Dodgers in game one tonight in Los Angeles, but the Dodgers are going with RHP Michael Grove.

Grove has nine games under his belt for the Dodgers this season and holds an 0-2 record with a 7.54 ERA in 37 innings pitched.

Grove, a 6 foot 3 200 pound righty, hails from Wheeling, West Virginia, and attended West Virginia University from 2016-2017. Grove was drafted by the Dodgers in the second round in the 2018 draft.

During his short stint in the majors, Grove has appeared in 16 games (13 starts) and holds a record of 1-2 with a 6.24 ERA in 66.1 innings pitched.
