Prior to Tuesday’s game against the Nationals, the Pirates announced that they have recalled Aaron Fletcher from Triple-A Indianapolis and optioned Miguel Yajure to Indianapolis.

Fletcher is back for his fourth stint with the Pirates so far this season. In eight games with the Bucs, Fletcher carries a 9.35 ERA/6.82 FIP across 8.2 innings in relief.

With Indianapolis, the left-hander has posted an ERA of 1.53 in 17.2 innings with nine strikeouts. Fletcher has only allowed a pair of earned runs in 7.2 innings of work in the month of June with the Indians.

Yajure heads back to the minors after starting Monday’s game against the Nationals. In that game, Yajure held the Nats scoreless over four innings on four hits and three walks. It was Yajure’s first start of the season at the Major League level.
