Pirates Prospects, Greensboro grasshoppers

Only one of the Pittsburgh Pirates’ minor league affiliates was in action on Tuesday. High-A Greensboro had a matchup with the Hickory Crawdads.

Though there isn’t a whole lot to highlight with only one team playing, there was a Pirates’ prospect on hand at PNC Park on Tuesday night.

No, he isn’t being promoted yet, but Liover Peguero was sitting next to the Pirates’ dugout to watch the Bucs take on the San Diego Padres. Prospects in Double-A Altoona will sometimes travel to Pittsburgh to watch the Pirates play.

When it comes to actual prospects in action, let’s dive into what went on with Greensboro.
