We’ve reached the All-Star break at the major league level, which means the minor leagues are off for the next couple days too.

Because there will be no games to report on, Pittsburgh Baseball Now will breakdown the Pittsburgh Pirates’ prospects performing the best at each level, starting with the Bradenton Marauders and working up the system.

INF Jack Brannigan

  • Season stats: .260/.416/.459, seven doubles, two triples, six home runs, 16 RBIs, 17 steals, 43 games

Brannigan, a 2022 draftee out of Notre Dame, has shown off his power and speed combination with the Marauders.

OF Rodolfo Nolasco

  • Season stats: .235/.366/.470, 14 doubles, 11 home runs, 41 RBIs, eight steals, 57 games

Nolasco possesses some of the best power in the Pirates’ minor league system, and it’s been on display with his 11 home runs, good for second on the team.

OF Enmanuel Terrero

  • Season stats: .282/.385/.428, eight doubles, six triples, six home runs, 31 doubles, 16 steals, 69 games

Terrero opened some eyes when he got off to a red-hot start this season.

INF Termarr Johnson

  • Season stats: .231/.398/.402, eight doubles, one triple, eight home runs, 33 RBIs, four steals, 60 games

The Pirates’ 2022 first-rounder began the season on the injured list, but he has done some nice things — especially in his ability to get on base.

OF Shalin Polanco

  • Season stats: .242/.326/.448, 15 doubles, 12 home runs, 43 RBIs, 16 steals, 65 games

Polanco was one of the Pirates’ top international signings in 2021. He has an impressive skillset and has gotten better as the year has gone on.

DH Josiah Sightler

  • Season stats: .500/.487/.853, three doubles, three home runs, 14 RBIs, nine games

Sightler hasn’t been with Bradenton all that long, but boy has he made an instant impact.

RHP Derek Diamond

  • Season stats: 7-3, 4.26 ERA, 32er/67.2ip, 73 hits, 14 walks, 58 strikeouts, 14 appearances/11 starts

Diamond’s impressive control is a big reason as to why he’s posted seven wins so far on the season.

RHP Alessandro Ercolani

  • Season stats: 4-4, 3.86 ERA, 25er/58.1ip, 54 hits, 27 walks, 58 strikeouts, 14 appearances/13 starts

Ercolani is arguably the top starter on the Marauders’ pitching staff when looking at his results.

LHP Dominic Perachi

  • Season stats: 3-0, 4.19 ERA, 25er/53.2ip, 55 hits, 25 walks, 53 strikeouts, 13 appearances/11 starts

The left-handed Perachi has offered a steady presence for Bradenton.
