Pirates Prospects, Liover Peguero

Just as they did on Wednesday, the Altoona Curve offense was again firing on all cylinders with a double-digit performance from the offense.

Several Pittsburgh Pirates’ prospects such as Liover Peguero and Lolo Sanchez were among the top contributors in Double-A on Thursday.

Some lesser-known Pirates’ prospects had notable performances in the minor league system, perhaps vying for more conversation. Here are the players who stood out.

The Indians dropped their third straight game in their 3-2 loss to the St. Paul Saints. Gonzales hit his first triple of the season while Stratton tossed a couple nice innings in relief.

Sanchez and Peguero helped to pace the offense. Mason Martin drove in a pair and stole his second base of the season. Catcher Dylan Shockley went 2 for 4 with two runs scored.
