Pirates Prospect Watch: Connor Scott Drives in Six Runs
It hasn’t been the best of starts for Pittsburgh Pirates prospect Connor Scott this season with Double-A Altoona.
While things may have gotten off on the wrong foot, the outfield prospect had a big night at the plate on Sunday. Scott completed the two hardest legs of the cycle with a triple and his first homer of the season.
In addition to Scott, here are the Pirates’ prospects with big games from Sunday’s action.
Indianapolis (23-27)

Capra and Triolo were the only Pirates’ prospects on base multiple times as the Indianapolis Indians were defeated 5-4 by the Columbus Clippers on Sunday.
Altoona (22-21)
LF Connor Scott

RHP Sean Sullivan

Scott’s big games was aided by another solid start from Sullivan as the Curve defeated the Hartford Yard Goats 8-2.
Pirates prospect Andres Alvarez had two more hits while Braeden Ogle threw two innings of scoreless relief to seal the win.

Bradenton (24-21)
LHP Dominic Perachi

DH Shalin Polanco

Despite six sparkling innings from Perachi and Polanco’s sixth homer of the year, the Marauders fell 7-1 to the Jupiter Hammerheads.
Pirates prospect Enmanuel Terrero finished the game 2 for 3 with a walk. Termarr Johnson was the only other player for Bradenton to record a hit.
