Pirates Postgame: Pirates Victorious In Andujar’s Debut

Published

on

The Pirates claimed Miguel Adujar last night and within 24 hours he already paid some dividends going 1-for-3 with a walk and RBI. However it was a complete mashing by the offense today that really contributed to today’s win.

The Pirates collected a total of 13 hits and were able to string them together for 8 total runs. Oneil Cruz, Jack Suwinski, Ke’Bryan Hayes, collected multiple hits as did Kevin Newman who adds on to his 9-game hit streak.

There was some concern tonight with Roansy making his 17th start as his velocity was down a significant amount. Though Jim discusses how it looked that way for other pitchers, so maybe it was just PNC Park in general being off on the pitchers.
