Pirates Postgame: Miguel Andujar Comes Up Big In Pirates 4-1 Victory

Published

on

Miguel Andujar’s 3-run bases clearing double sealed the deal for the Pirates victory tonight. However, it was another fantastic pitching performance by Mitch Keller that lead to the Reds only gaining one run in the contest.

What was most impressive by Mitch Keller wasn’t the stuff or strikeouts, but once again being able to effectively pitch without having his best stuff along with having poise and confidence. As he has continued to do all season, he was able to induce 6 big groundouts to go along with his 5 strikeouts.

Offensively, the rookie duo of Oneil Cruz and Ji-hwan Bae set the table as they each collected 2 hits as they showed off their speed as a big time weapon. There has been much to be impressed about with Bae during his short tenure and we discuss what we have liked about him to this point.
