Pirates Postgame: Keller Good Enough But Bucs Aren’t In Extras

Published

on

Mitch Keller continues his 2-seam tour in Tropicana Field today and the results were pretty okay. Though he gave up 3 in the 2nd, he held it together and now has a 2.98 ERA since incorporating the 2-seamer. We talk similarities in today’s start from another which leaves us very encouraged.

The strikeouts continue to be a huge problem for this team as they finished with 17. Thankfully, the long ball played as Michael Chavis, Hoy Park, and Diego Castillo each hit them. Chavis just keeps continuing to impress vs. lefties while showing he is more than capable of a defender. Oh, speaking of defense, Oneil Cruz put together another solid defensive performance.
