Pirates Postgame: Bullpen Collapse Costs Pirates Another Loss

The Pirates Bullpen now has an MLB worst 6.58 ERA in the month of September as their 4 earned tonight lead by another bad outing from Wil Crowe gave the Pirates their 8th loss in a row.

The night started with Bryse Wilson taking the mound. He came into the game with one of the worst ERA’s by a starting pitcher in all of baseball, but did enough to keep this team in the game for the win. His only real damage was the 2-run shot in the second inning.

The offense actually did show up to provide 5 runs. Bryan Reynolds hit his 25th home run for a career season high and Ji-hwan Bae debuted tonight getting his first MLB hit as well as two stolen bases.
