PNC Park NL Wild Card Game

With MLB’s regular season only two weeks away, gambling sites are coming out with their seasonal odds. Sites are releasing division winner odds, world series odds, playoff odds, and even pennant odds. Even though the Pirates are still in rebuild mode, they too have odds on each of the scenarios mentioned above.

Let’s take a look at the entire NL Central division and their odds in each of the main categories.

These odds are brought to you by BetOnline.

NL Central Odds

1st- Milwaukee Brewers -150 favorites
2nd- St. Louis Cardinals +200
3rd- Chicago Cubs +1100
4th- Cincinnati Reds +1100
5th- Pittsburgh Pirates +3500

NL Pennant Odds

Milwaukee Brewers +900
St. Louis Cardinals +1200
Cincinnati Reds +3300
Chicago Cubs +5000
Pittsburgh Pirates +15000

World Series Odds

Milwaukee Brewers +2000
St. Louis Cardinals +2200
Cincinnati Reds +7500
Chicago Cubs +10000
Pittsburgh Pirates +30000

Playoff Odds

Milwaukee Brewers -285
St. Louis Cardinals -120
Cincinnati Reds +400
Chicago Cubs +600
Pittsburgh Pirates +1600

It’s easy to see that the odds are not in the Pirates’ favor, as they have the worst odds of any team in the Central for every single category and are considered longshots to make the playoffs, much less win the pennant or World Series.
