The Pittsburgh Pirates made a series of roster moves Thursday, including placing catcher Tyler Heineman on the 10-day injured list and left-hander Dillon Peters on the 15-day IL.

Left-hander Eric Stout was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis and catcher Taylor Davis’ contract was selected from the same club.

Heineman has a right groin strain that he sustained in Wednesday night’s 8-7 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers. Peters has left elbow inflammation.

Stout made two relief appearances for the Pirates earlier this season and allowed one unearned run in 1.2 innings. The 29-year-old was 1-0 with two saves and 0.79 ERA in nine games with Indianapolis.

Davis, 32, was hitting .258/.358/.320 in 35 games for Indianapolis.
