Pirates’ affiliates picked up three wins on Saturday night, highlighted by a career performance from one of their top pitching prospects.

After two rough starts to begin his Triple-A tenure, Thomas Harrington enjoyed one of the best starts of his professional career on Saturday night. The 23-year-old right-hander needed just 63 pitches to complete seven innings, working a perfect game for the first five frames.

Altoona walked off the Bowie Baysox 7-6 in 11 innings, with Sammy Siani accounting for four runs scored. The bump up to Double-A continued to provide challenges for left-hander Dominic Perachi, who allowed five runs in three innings.

Greensboro saw their game postponed due to a sodden field, while Bradenton took down the Dunedin Blue Jays 6-4. 20-year-old Venezuelan left-handed pitcher Inmer Lobo provided four scoreless innings in relief after the Marauders’ starter got chased out of the game early, helping steady the ship on the way to victory, while Braylon Bishop hit his fifth affiliate ball home run and managed to swipe home on a double steal.
