Pirates Minor League Report: Charles McAdoo Not Slowing Down
Pirates’ affiliates managed one win on Sunday despite multi-homer games from nearly every team in the system, including Charles McAdoo’s third homer in eight games since his promotion to Double-A.
Triple-A Indianapolis lost 12-8 to the Rochester Red Wings, as three-run homers from Seth Beer and Dylan Shockley couldn’t balance out a difficult day for the pitching staff.
The Altoona Curve lost 7-4 to the Akron Rubber Ducks despite homers from Charles McAdoo and Eli Wilson. Greensboro notched the lone win in the system, crushing the Jersey Shore BlueClaws 10-1 behind three-hit games from Mitch Jebb and Geovanny Planchart, along with a Jack Brannigan homer.
The Bradenton Marauders, meanwhile, lost 4-1 to the Clearwater Threshers.
