Pirates’ minor league affiliates went 2-2 on Wednesday, with Lonnie White Jr. hitting his second home run in the past five games.

Triple-A Indianapolis won 11-6 against the Columbus Clippers, with their bullpen helping them secure the win after Daulton Jefferies got tagged for five runs in the first four innings.

The Altoona Curve lost 10-6 to the Richmond Flying Squirrels despite home runs from Kervin Pichardo and Tsung-Che Cheng. Richmond roughed up both Anthony Solometo and Thomas Harrington, and the Curve’s offense couldn’t keep pace.

The Greensboro Grasshoppers outlasted the Jersey Shore BlueClaws 6-5, with Alessandro Ercolani receiving the win in relief. The 20-year-old right-hander struck out five over three scoreless innings after the BlueClaws chased Hunter Barco from the game early, while White Jr. homered and Termarr Johnson doubled and walked on the way to scoring two runs.

Bradenton got knocked around by the Clearwater Threshers in a 7-2 loss, managing just three hits.
