PBN Around the Horn: The Pirates Begin Three Game Set in Milwaukee

Monday, April 18th, your Pittsburgh Pirates (5-4) will start a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers (5-5). Set for his second start of the season for the Pirates is Zach Thompson (0-0 4.50 ERA). For the Brewers will be lefty Eric Lauer (0-0 6.23 ERA). First pitch at American Family Field is at 7:40 p.m.

UPDATE (3:31 p.m.) Brewers lineup for tonight’s matchup vs. the Pirates

UPDATE (12:52 p.m.) The O/U line has moved again. The Pirates and Brewers game is now at O/U 8 runs.

UPDATE (10:44 a.m.) Pirates legend, Steve Blass turns 80-years-old today. The former Pirates’ pitcher pitched a gem in game seven of the 1971 World Series and won 103 games in his career. Join us at Pittsburgh Baseball Now by wishing Mr. Blass a very happy birthday.
