On Friday, July 8th, your Pittsburgh Pirates (34-49) start a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers (47-37.) Starting game one for the Pirates will be JT Brubaker (2-7, 4.28 ERA). Brubaker will face Aaron Ashby (1-6, 4.60 ERA). First pitch at American Family Field is set for 8:10 p.m.

UPDATE (10:43 a.m.) The Arizona Diamondbacks have outright Cole Tucker to Triple-A Reno. The former Pirate was batting a .229/.290/.289 slash line for the Diamondbacks Triple-A club.
