PBN Around the Horn: In the Words of Zeppelin, Been Dazed and Confused

Pittsburgh Pirates Prospects

Welcome to the PBN Around the Horn. Here you’ll find news and notes from across Major League Baseball, your Pittsburgh Pirates, and around the Sports Now network.

The title says it all, the protection list was made for the Rule 5 draft, and it was a tad confusing. The one thing that was the most confusing was the lack of pitchers on the protection list. With the 40-man roster lacking a ton of pitching talent, one would think there would be a pitcher or two protected.

While it is most likely true that the majority of the unprotected pitchers will get selected, it still leaves us wondering and scratching our heads.
