After one of the oddest games in recent memory, the Pittsburgh Pirates (48-86) will face the Chicago Cubs (60-75) in game two of a four-game set. Steven Brault (4.57 ERA) will go up against Alec Mills (4.32 ERA). First pitch is 2:20 p.m.

UPDATE (11:42 a.m) Newly promoted prospect Diego Castillo went 4-4 last night with the Pirates Triple-A affiliate in Indianapolis

UPDATE (11:28 a.m)- The Pirates moved up a half a game on everybody last night in the 2022 MLB Draft race since the Rangers, Diamondbacks, and Orioles all had off days on Thursday. Pirates are 5.5 back of Baltimore, 3 behind Arizona, and a half game back of the Rangers.
