Roberto Clemente

A brand new bobblehead of Pittsburgh Pirates all-time great Roberto Clemente has been released by FOCO.

The bobblehead features Clemente along with the 12 consecutive Gold Glove awards the right fielder took home from 1961-72.

The bobblehead features Clemente in his old-school Pirates’ uniform with a large Gold Glove serving as the backdrop of the figurine. The 11 other Gold Glove awards are either in his hands or at the base of the bobblehead by his feet.

The newest bobblehead of “The Great One” can be purchased here.

Clemente, of course, is one of the best players in the history of the Pirates’ organization. The MLB Hall of Famer spent 18 seasons with the Pirates before his untimely death on New Year’s Eve in 1972.

For his major league career, Clemente amassed 3,000 hits and a .317 batting average. In addition to his dozen Gold Gloves, Clemente was a two-time World Series champion, was the 1971 World Series MVP, a 15-time All-Star, a four-time batting champion and the 1966 MVP.

To honor Clemente’s legacy, Major League Baseball hands out the Roberto Clemente Award annually. The honor “best exemplifies the game of baseball, sportsmanship, community involvement and the individual’s contribution to his team.”

FOCO’s product line includes more than just bobbleheads. Their product line includes apparel, accessories, collectables and much more.
