Saturday, Aug. 13, the Pittsburgh Pirates (45-68) play game two of a three-game weekend series against the San Francisco Giants (55-57). The Pirates are coming off a tough opener against the Giants on Friday night, when they lost 5-3 in San Francisco. The first pitch Saturday is set for 9:05 p.m. ET at Oracle Park.

Ben Gamel hit just his fifth career home run against a lefty Friday night. Gamel’s last home run against a lefty was against the Atlanta Braves and Max Fried on July 5, 2021.
