Since today is an off day for your Pittsburgh Pirates, today’s Around the Horn will give you a different look. Sunday afternoon Mitch Keller put forth an extremely strong effort for a full six innings and just one earned run.

“Unfortunately we didn’t get the win, but I think we battled real hard,” said Keller. “I think we’re right there and we’re so close to putting it together. When our starters are attacking the zone and have that mindset, that’s when we are at out best.”

“I think it takes a little more focus,” Keller said on the Pirates being close to turning things around. “As I said, we’re close, and we all know we are. One or two plays here and there need to fall our way, and if that requires a little more focus here and there, then that’s what we need to do.”
