MLB Announces That MiLB Will Go Back to Their Historic League Names

MiLB on Wednesday afternoon announced that they are going back to their roots. Gone are the new league names, and in their place are the historically accurate league names. MLB Senior Vice President of Minor League Operations and Development Peter Woodfork commented on this very news.
“Major League Basebal is pleased to restore the historic names for each of the Minor Leagues that our fans are familiar with,” said Woodfork. “We are excited for what the future holds for each of the leagues and communities.”
