WATCH: Dave Parker II Shares Poem Written By Late Father at Cooperstown

Former Pittsburgh Pirates right fielder Dave Parker was posthumously inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday.
Parker, who played 11 of his 19 Major League seasons with the Pirates, died on June 28 at 74 years old following a long battle with Parkinsonās Disease.
During his tenure with the Pirates, Parker won back-to-back batting titles from 1977-78 and was the National League MVP in 1978 before helping guide Pittsburgh to its fifth World Series championship the following year. In his Hall of Fame career, Parker was a two-time World Series champion, a seven-time All-Star and received three Silver Slugger awards and three Gold Gloves.
As part of his induction into Cooperstown, Parker’s son, Dave Parker II, shared a poem written by his father. In the poem, Parker mixes his big personality with his deep love for the city of Pittsburgh and appreciation to Pirates’ fans.
