For the second time this season, a Pittsburgh Pirates minor league affiliate has tossed a combined no-hitter. After the Indianapolis Indians got one earlier in the season, four Bradenton Marauders pitchers combined to hold the Clearwater Threshers hitless on Thursday night.

Quinn Priester, who is on a rehab assignment working his way back from an oblique injury, started the game on the mound for Bradenton. He tossed three innings and struck out one batter. The only baserunner he allowed was on a hit by pitch.

Pirates 2021 2nd-rounder Anthony Solometo made his third appearance for Bradenton this season and tossed four innings. He walked two and struck out three batters.

Relievers Jake Sweeney and Yunior Thibo finished off the no-hitter after each tossed an inning a piece and each pitcher only issued one free pass.

The Marauders went on to win the game by a score of 3-0. Henry Davis, also on a rehab assignment, doubled, walked, and was hit by a pitch. Norkis Marcos drove in a pair of runs.
