- Allen became the 21st Pirates player to hit a home run Friday night. The Pirates have now tied the Giants for the most in that category.
- Ben Gamel hit just his fifth career home run against a lefty Friday night. Gamel’s last home run against a lefty was against the Atlanta Braves and Max Fried on July 5, 2021.
