Pirates Make a Flurry of Triple-A Transactions Hours Before First Pitch

The Pittsburgh Pirates have made some Triple-A transaction moves Friday evening before their 7:10 start time in Indianapolis against the Omaha Storm Chasers.

  • C Grant Koch has been moved to the development list
  • INF Josh Bissonnette moved to the development list
  • INF Jared Triolo has been placed on the 7-day IL
  • RHP Blake Cederlind has been placed on the 7-day IL
  • RHP Tyler Chatwood has been placed on the 7-day IL
  • LHP Kent Emanuel has been placed on the 7-day IL

On top of the development placements and the 7-day IL moves RHP Robert Stephenson will begin his journey back to the majors with his rehab assignment starting Friday night for the Indians.

Stephenson was placed on the 15-day IL with right-elbow inflammation back on March 30, retroactive to March 27.
