The Pittsburgh Pirates have reinstated infielder Jared Triolo (right knee patellar tendon injury) from the 15-day injured list and optioned infielder/outfielder Nick Yorke to Triple-A Indianapolis.

The 28-year-old appeared in five games between Low-A Bradenton and Double-A Altoona on a rehab assignment. In three games with Altoona, Triolo hit .385 (5 for 13) with a home run, three RBI and three runs.

Last season with the Pirates, Triolo posted a .227/.311/.356 batting line with 18 doubles, two triples, seven home runs, 24 RBI and 13 steals in 107 games.
