Prior to Wednesday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers, the Pittsburgh Pirates have reinstated right-hander JT Brubaker from the paternity list and have recalled righty Miguel Yajure from Triple-A Indianapolis.

In corresponding moves, Pittsburgh optioned left-handers Cam Vieaux and Eric Stout to Triple-A.

Brubaker missed one start while on the paternity list and will rejoin the Pirates’ rotation. In 24 starts this year, Brubaker isĀ  3-11 with a 4.39 ERA/3.65 FIP. He’s picked up a team-high 132 strikeouts across 127 innings, which is also most on the team.

This will be the third stint of the season for Yajure with the Pirates. In seven games, Yajure has posted an 8.16 ERA in 14.1 innings.

In five games (four starts) with Indianapolis this month, Yajure owns a 4.50 ERA with 25 punch outs in 24 innings on the mound.

Vieaux heads back to Indianapolis after making three appearances with the Bucs in August. On the season, Vieaux has a 10.38 ERA across eight games with the big league club.

Stout was claimed off of waivers from the Chicago Cubs earlier this year and has pitched in 14 games out of the bullpen for the Pirates. Stout has a 4.91 ERA with 14 strikeouts in 13.2 innings of work with Pittsburgh.

The left-hander picked up his first career save on Aug. 10 in Arizona.
