The Pittsburgh Pirates have recalled outfielder Jack Suwisnki from Triple-A Indianapolis and optioned outfielder/first baseman Bligh Madris to Indty.

Suwinski is batting sixth in the Pirates’ lineup on Monday and will be manning left field in their game against the Brewers at Miller Park in Milwaukee.

Suwinski was with the Pirates for 72 games earlier this season before being optioned on July 15. Suwinski was off to a hot start with Pittsburgh before an 0-for-28 skid prior to his demotion.

In total, Suwinski is hitting .198 with a .716 OPS with the Pirates this season. Suwinski still leads all National League rookies with 14 home runs and the 24-year-old has driven in 25 runs.

In 39 games with the Bucs this season, Madris is slashing .177/.244/.265 with seven doubles, a home run and seven RBIs.

Since the start of July, Madris has managed only a .108 batting average and a .363 OPS in 29 games. He picked up doubles in back-to-back games against the Phillies over the weekend at Philadelphia.

Additionally, infielder Kevin Padlo cleared waivers and was outrighted to Indianapolis.
