Pirates Prospect Watch: Jared Oliva On Fire In September

Since a handful of Pittsburgh Pirates prospects were promoted to Triple-A Indianapolis earlier in the week, the Indians’ roster consists of a number of bigger named young Bucs.
Endy Rodriguez has generated a lot of buzz for his impressive start at the highest minor league level. Top pitching prospect Quinn Priester also made his Triple-A debut.
One prospect who isn’t as highly regarded but has been on quite the stretch at the plate is 26-year-old outfielder Jared Oliva.
After another strong game Saturday, Oliva is hitting .388 with a 1.043 OPS and 10 extra-base hits in 18 games in September.
