Pirates Reinstate Bryse Wilson, Place JT Brubaker on 10-day IL

The Pirates announced that they have reinstated right-handed pitcher Bryse Wilson off the 10-day injured list, and placed right-hander JT Brubaker on the 10-day IL with a right thumb contusion.

Wilson will start in the final game of a three-game series against the Diamondbacks on Wednesday night.

Wilson was placed on the injured list on Aug. 15 with right arm fatigue.

Since being acquired from the Braves in the Richard Rodriguez trade, Wilson is 0-2 with a 4.80 ERA in three starts for the Pirates. On the year, Wilson is 2-5 with a 4.82 ERA in 10 starts between Atlanta and Pittsburgh.

Brubaker, who picked up the win after going five scoreless on Tuesday night, is 5-13 with a 5.27 ERA.
