Sunday saw three of the Pittsburgh Pirates’ minor league affiliates in action as Double-A Altoona had the day off.

Both Triple-A Indianapolis and High-A Greensboro were victorious. Indianapolis was led by several of their top prospects en route to their fifth consecutive win.

Without further ado, here are the Pirates’ prospects who performed the best on Sunday.

Indianapolis (5-4)

CF Travis Swaggerty

  • Game stats: 2 for 5, one double, one triple, one RBI, two runs, one steal
  • Season stats: .286/.342/.600, four doubles, two triples, one home run, two RBIs, one steal, nine games

RHP Quinn Priester

  • Game stats: five innings, two hits, one earned run, three walks, four strikeouts
  • Season stats: 1-1, 7.27 ERA, 7er/8.2ip, 11 hits, five walks, eight strikeouts, two appearances/two starts

Priester shook off a bad first start to begin the season and earned his first win of the year with a strong five innings of work in Indianapolis’ 8-1 win over the Louisville Bats.

Swaggerty has continued to open eyes with his play after collecting two more extra-base hits while filling up the stat sheet.

Catcher Endy Rodriguez was on base three times and drove in a run while Nick Gonzales had a pair of sacrifice flies. Cody Bolton struck out three in his lone inning of relief.

Altoona (0-3)

Greensboro (2-1)

SS Mike Jarvis

  • Season stats: 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 0er/3.0ip, two hits, one walk, three strikeouts, one appearance/one start

Jarvis’ home run in his three-hit performance helped Greensboro take down the Hudson Valley Renegades 4-3. Deese, a 17th-round pick in last year’s draft, set the tone with three solid innings.

Right-hander Michell Miliano struck out four in 1.2 innings out of the pen and outfielder Angel Basabe had two hits.

Bradenton (1-2)

RHP Braxton Ashcraft

  • Game stats: three innings, one hit, no runs, no walks, five strikeouts

The Marauders fell 4-2 to the Clearwater Threshers but Ashcraft shined on the mound for Bradenton. Rivas recorded three singles in five at-bats.
