A pair of top arms amongst Pittsburgh Pirates’ prospects stole the show with excellent outings on Friday night.

For Triple-A Indianapolis, Quinn Priester continued to lower his ERA with six shutout frames. At Double-A Altoona, Jared Jones was also superb over his six innings of work.

Priester and Jones are both considered to be two of the Pirates’ top pitching prospects according to MLB Pipeline, and it was easy to see why on Friday.
