Pirates Postgame: Bad Offense And Pitching Leads To Pirates 19-2 Loss

In a very forgettable game the Pirates lose to the Brewers 19-2. It was #RoansyDay, but after showing some struggles his past few outings, it appears luck caught up with him and the Brewers put up 7 earned in 1.2 innings pitched. DiNardo talks about his struggles today which lead to three HR’s.

It certainly wasn’t pretty for anybody else either. As a team the pitchers only struck out two Brewers and the bullpen added on 10 more earned runs. Offensively, well, Corbin Burnes had a no hitter through 5 and the second only run for the Pirates had to come after a review in the 8th being down 16 runs.
