Pirates’ affiliates played four games on Thursday, with a homer party from the Greensboro Grasshoppers headlining the festivities.

Triple-A Indianapolis dropped both games of their doubleheader with the Omaha Storm Chasers, losing 3-2 in extra innings in the opening contest before a lopsided 7-1 decision in the nightcap.

The Altoona Curve picked up a 6-5 win over the Portland Sea Dogs, putting up four runs in a two-out rally in the fifth that helped them emerge victorious.

Greensboro bashed their way to a 15-2 win, with Hunter Barco pitching five innings of two run ball. Luke Brown slugged two homers, while Lonnie White Jr. and Nick Cimillo also cleared the fences. Charles McAdoo managed five hits and Termarr Johnson doubled twice.
