Pirates affiliates picked up four wins on Wednesday, highlighted by another milestone moment for 2022 fourth overall pick Termarr Johnson and another strong start from top prospect Bubba Chandler.

Triple-A Indianapolis swept their doubleheader with the Louisville Bats. Chandler didn’t allow an earned run over five innings, while Liover Peguero picked up two extra base hits across 14 innings of baseball.

The Altoona Curve relied on the long ball to get past the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 8-4, with Johnson hitting his first Double-A homer in just his second game with the team. Outfielder Jase Bowen and catcher Eli Wilson also cleared the fences.

Center fielder P.J. Hilson hit his second homer in as many games for Greensboro, while right-hander Alessandro Ercolani provided four scoreless innings in relief that helped settle things down for the Grasshoppers on the way to a 5-4 extra innings win.
Bradenton saw their game postponed due to inclement weather.
