Pirates’ affiliates picked up two wins on Tuesday night, with monumental home runs from Seth Beer and Shawn Ross.

Beer helped power Indianapolis to victory, exploding for three homers in the team’s 13-6 thrashing of the Iowa Cubs.

The Altoona Curve lost 8-6 to the Erie Sea Wolves, with their bullpen melting down and allowing six runs in the late innings.

The Greensboro Grasshoppers fared better, blowing the save but walking off the Asheville Tourists 9-5 in eleven innings courtesy of a Shawn Ross grand slam.

Bradenton put two aboard in the bottom of the ninth inning, bringing the tying run to the plate, but they couldn’t avert a 5-2 loss to the Lakeland Flying Tigers.
