Pirates’ top 30 prospect Mike Burrows got dinged up in Indianapolis once again, but the Indians managed a 9-7 win on the strength of three extra base hits (including a grand slam) from Joshua Palacios.

Double-A Altoona picked up a 9-5 win thanks to homers from slugging 2022 16th round pick Nick Cimillo along with Jase Bowen, who finished second in the South Atlantic league in homers a season ago but has had a rough go of it with the Curve.

No one wants to pitch to Greensboro Grasshoppers’ catcher Omar Alfonzo, who hit a trio of homers on the week and reached base three times on Sunday, drawing a pair of walks. Jack Brannigan added a triple and a single, continuing his flaming hot return from the injured list.

Bradenton finished their season with a walk-off loss, falling 2-1 despite a homer from Yordany De Los Santos. Keiner Delgado, who Pittsburgh acquired from the Yankees, also reached base three times.
