Pirates Minor League Report: Trade Pickup Nick Yorke On Fire

Pirates affiliates won 3 of the 5 games they played on Saturday, with former Red Sox first round pick Nick Yorke managing two hits, pushing his batting average north of .330 during his three weeks with the organization.

Triple-A Indianapolis lost 6-3 to Columbus. Jack Suwinski has gone through a rough spell during his time in the minors this season, but he managed a double and a homer—the latter against a lefty, no less—on Saturday.
